Program Overview
This program combines Spanish language learning with a full cultural immersion experience. Students live with a carefully selected Chilean host family, attend structured Spanish classes, and practice every day in real-life situations.
Homestay Accommodation
- Private furnished bedroom in a Chilean host family home
- Two or three meals per day included
- Laundry service once per week
- Internet access and shared common spaces
- Orientation upon arrival + airport pickup
- Family integration: practice Spanish at the table, during outings, and in daily routines
Spanish Learning Component
- 10–15 hours of Spanish classes per week (group or private)
- Focus on grammar, conversation, and local expressions
- Optional modules in business Spanish, medical Spanish, or tourism Spanish
- Weekly language practice activities (role-plays, debates, presentations)
Cultural & Social Activities
- Weekly cultural workshops (Chilean cooking, music, history)
- Weekend excursions: nearby beaches, vineyards, national parks, or historic towns
- Participation in family activities (celebrations, markets, outings)
Sample Weekly Schedule
Monday–Friday
- Morning: Spanish lessons (2–3 hrs/day)
- Afternoon: Homework, cultural activities, or exploration
- Evening: Dinner and conversation practice with host family
Weekends
- Excursion or cultural workshop (organized once a week)
- Free day to explore with friends or host family
